I braid words in this apothecary full of hope, and yet with the realistic outlook of experience.

I’m full of hope, because we are going through a process of rebuilding the structure of society,

and that process starts in one’s soul.

Trenzo palabras en esta botica, en esperanza, pero sobre todo en experiencia.

En esperanza porque estamos en un proceso de reconstruir nuestra sociedad,

y eso se empieza curando el alma propia.

I braid them with the realistic outlook of experience,

because when I do I feel I belong to a higher calling.

I braid the past, the present and the future.

The continuation in this life of what my ancestors started.

When I braid words, my thoughts integrate. They become one.

Las trenzo en experiencia, porque al trenzarlas pertenezco a un llamado mayor:

entrelazo el pasado el presente y el futuro;

la continuación en esta vida de lo que empezaron mis ancestros.

Al trenzar palabras todo se integra. Se vuelve uno.

Todo lo demás ya no existe. Es solo una interpretación.

So I keep braiding words. Specially when I find it the most challenging.

Así que sigo trenzando palabras. Sobre todo cuando más me cuesta.
