Woman. Life. Freedom.

I braided my hair to a line of energy with 4 Iranian women from different backgrounds and generations. As part of this braiding ceremony we spoke about the ways we see the world. The ways we experience violence. Our need for change and the contrasting realities of geography. It was a reminder of the invisible thread that braids us together in commonality. On the 2nd of November of 2022, we honored the lives of all those courageous humans that have died for their freedom. May we see ourselves in each other. May we realize that we are each other’s destiny.
